Hello, adventurers!
The best things in life are free. Usually, the fact that they are free is what makes them the best things. That’s why everyone is catching Pokémon right now (that and it’s probably addicting), why people love watching Markiplier on YouTube (that and he’s funny), or why planking was such a big deal (that and… nope, that’s the only reason I can think of).
Now let me ask you… a slide that you have to pay for versus a free slide? Which one’s better? I rest my case.
Therefore, what could be more awesome for the inner adventurous child than the MUNICIPAL PARK SLIDE AT ROCKY RIDGE- Mount Tabor Park, 13616 Motters Station Rd, Rocky Ridge, MD.
It’s huge, it’s fun, and it’s free. What more does one need?
They say a burlap bag makes you go even faster and they are on site for anyone to use, but all I saw were those towels in the sawdust you see in the picture and… well, I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to use them. Besides, it turns out sliding without a towel or burlap makes you go fast enough! In fact, I saw people using sheets of wax paper. That may be why the slide is fast enough for the rest of us.
One can’t help but mindlessly giggle the entire way down. So go make yourself giggle like a little girl unashamedly. And invite me along because I want to go again.
Besides, I bet there are some Pokémon sliding there right now.
Until next time, dahlings…
