Mes amis,
Who doesn’t love ice cream?
Well, some people… but such insanity is not worth acknowledging.
If you love ice cream, and we already established that anyone who is anyone does, you certainly know about Ben & Jerry’s. If you love ice cream perhaps a little more than the average person, you probably know that Ben & Jerry’s started in Vermont and the Disney World of Ben & Jerry’s is in Waterbury.
Note the long line for ice cream to your right.
The reason I came here is the listing at the bottom of this sign.
One thing even the fanatics may not realize is that when a flavor from B&J’s is retired, they allow you to pay your respects for the fallen.
On the Waterbury property is the BEN & JERRY’S FLAVOR GRAVEYARD- 1281 Waterbury Stowe Rd., Waterbury, VT.
Might I point out the cow print trash can.
Ben and Jerry realize that not everyone will be happy about retiring flavors, so they have created a virtual AND physical graveyard for those to mourn the those that have passed.
The following is for you Monty Python fans.
On the property, there are plenty of activities for you and your family (photo ops, t-shirt tie-dyeing, factory tours, and of course ice cream eating). While on your visit, be sure to stop by and pay your respects to the “dairy de-pinted.”
… they came up with that, not me. Don’t blame me.
… okay, they came up with the “de-pinted,” I came up with the “dairy.” You can blame me a little bit. Please take the tomatoes out of the cans before throwing them at me.
… the tomatoes, not the cans, don’t throw cans.
Until next time, dahlings…
